Ra-mốt trong Ga-la-át
Các nơi cao của Ga-la-át, một thành ẩn náu ở phía đông sông Giô-đanh; được gọi là “Ra-mốt nơi Ga-la-át” (Phục-truyền Luật-lệ Ký 4:43; Giô-suê 20:8; 21:38). Tại đây, A-háp, người đã liên minh với Giô-sa-phát trong nỗ lực giải cứu thành khỏi tay vua Sy-ri, đã bị trọng thương (1 Các Vua 22:1-36). Một nỗ lực tương tự sau đó đã được A-cha-xia và Giô-ram thực hiện, và Giô-ram đã bị thương (2 Các Vua 8:28). Tại thành này, Giê-hu, con trai của Giô-sa-phát, đã được một trong các môn đồ của các tiên tri xức dầu (2 Các Vua 9:1, 4).
