Xô-rô-ba-bên
Dòng giống Ba-by-lôn, con trai của Sa-la-thi-ên hay Sê-anh-thi-ên (A-ghê 1:1; Zorobabel, Ma-thi-ơ 1:12); cũng được gọi là con trai của Phê-đa-gia (1 Sử-ký 3:17-19), tức là cháu nội hoặc cháu trai của Sa-la-thi-ên theo cách dùng từ “con” phổ biến thời đó. Ông cũng được biết đến qua tên tiếng Phe-rơ-sơ là Sết-ba-xa (Ê-xơ-ra 1:8, 11). Vào năm đầu tiên của Si-ru, vua Phe-rơ-sơ, ông đã dẫn dắt đoàn người Do Thái đầu tiên gồm 42.360 người (Ê-xơ-ra 2:64), không kể số lượng lớn tôi tớ, trở về sau bảy mươi năm lưu đày. Vào năm thứ hai sau cuộc hồi hương, ông đã lập một bàn thờ và đặt nền móng đền thờ trên đống đổ nát của nơi từng bị Nê-bu-cát-nê-sa phá hủy (Ê-xơ-ra 3:8-13; các đoạn 4-6). Suốt cả công trình, ông giữ một vị trí nổi bật vì là dòng dõi thuộc dòng tộc hoàng gia Đa-vít.
