Achbor was the father of Elnathan, a royal official under King Jehoiakim who was sent to bring the prophet Uriah back from Egypt to be executed and who later pleaded, unsuccessfully, against burning Jeremiah's scroll (Jeremiah 26:22; 36:12, 36:25).
