Melchiah (also spelled Malchiah) was the father of Pashur, one of the officials King Zedekiah sent to consult Jeremiah and who later had Jeremiah thrown into a muddy cistern for his discouraging prophecies (Jeremiah 21:1; 38:1, 38:6).
