Mười điều răn được ban bố
Tại núi Si-na-i, Đức Chúa Trời ban cho Môi-se Mười Điều Răn, phần cốt lõi của luật pháp giao ước gắn kết Y-sơ-ra-ên với Đức Chúa Trời như là dân Ngài (Xuất Ê-díp-tô Ký 20:1-17). Theo truyền thống, các điều răn được khắc trên hai bảng đá, sau này được lưu giữ bên trong hòm giao ước.
