Cuộc Xuất Ai-cập
Sau khi hàng loạt tai vạ bẻ gãy sự kháng cự của Pha-ra-ôn, Môi-se dẫn dắt dân Y-sơ-ra-ên thoát khỏi hàng thế kỷ nô lệ tại Ê-díp-tô, và Đức Chúa Trời rẽ Biển Đỏ để họ trốn thoát đạo quân truy đuổi của Pha-ra-ôn (Xuất Ê-díp-tô Ký 12-14). Biến cố này trở thành ký ức nền tảng về sự giải cứu của Y-sơ-ra-ên, được tưởng niệm hằng năm vào Lễ Vượt Qua.
