Goshen, Egypt
MosesAfter ten plagues broke Pharaoh's resistance, Moses led the Hebrew slaves out of Goshen in a single night, unleavened bread in hand and blood marking their doorposts against the final plague. Paul later read the Passover lamb as a figure of Christ's sacrifice. The exodus became Israel's founding memory, retold at every Passover meal since.
“Let my people go, that they may serve me.”
