Laws of Moses
After bringing Israel out of Egypt, God gave Moses a body of laws to govern nearly every part of life. Worship, justice, property, family, food, festivals, purity, and life within the community all came under its scope. The laws found in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy are organized here by the traditional moral, civil, and ceremonial divisions.

Where the laws fall
Leviticus is nearly all law; Deuteronomy mostly restates and expands what Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers already established.
