Zedekiah was a false prophet among the exiles in Babylon whom Jeremiah condemned, alongside Ahab son of Kolaiah, for prophesying lies and committing adultery. Jeremiah predicted Nebuchadnezzar would execute them both by fire, so vividly that their names became a curse formula among the exiles: "The Lord make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab" (Jeremiah 29:21-23).
