Biblical Instructions
God has given His people many instructions in scripture. Husbands, wives, parents, children, elders, servants, masters, and kings. When you don't know what to do, you can look to the Bible for guidance. The Bible has instructions for everyone.
By subject
The instructions are not distributed evenly across every audience and subject. Wives are addressed about submission, elders about leadership, servants about their work, and so on. Scripture tends to give each audience instructions closely connected to their particular role rather than a broad set of instructions that applies equally to everyone.
Counts are classified passages, not a measure of how much Scripture cares about a role. They move with book length, repetition, and our own classification choices.
By book
Some books contain very little of this material, while others, such as Titus and Ephesians, contain a great deal. Each chip represents a book containing at least one classified passage, grouped by testament and shaded according to the number of passages. The shading reflects passage count, not the length of the text, so a short letter can appear darker than a much longer book. Click a book to filter the page to its instructions.
